You could adapt the door flapper off say a mid 70 to 80's Chevy a/c truck as they have a door that opens with vacuum. AC/Heater unit. This leaves the original passenger side vent wide open (since the

If you can fabricate an intake adaptor for the Vintage Air unit to get air from the original air intake, do so. Sucking fresh air into the cab is much more comfortable than recirculating it. Pulling

I think the cowl and wing windows are the best methods to draw in fresh air on a 1951. Now if you really want to pull in some air, take a 1950 and earlier cab with the drivers side "side" cowl vent,
