Question. Will an exhaust manifold off a 55 235 cu engine fit a 50 216. As far as I can see the exhaust sn is 3835587... and is attached to an intake sn 3835590. If not, it's for sale. Thanks, Gary

Hollander manual for 1955, vol. 21 says no, or at least it does not say yes. Look for casting #3835587 for a 235 and 261 and 3835388 on the 216. Strangely, for the GMC, the 1/2 ton with 228 is the sa

You can't mix and match 216 and 235 exhausts and intakes. You can however bolt 235 assy. to a 216 but this will not allow you to use the intake alignment inserts. I have manifolds (too many) if you a
