First observation I'd make is that this is the "oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959". I think you can assume most of us like old trucks... My newest truck is a '72

Well I can't answer all your questions but I will start with a couple. Is the truck indeed a Chevrolet or is it a GMC? If a Chevy then the 348 is not the original engine. 6 cylinder trucks still had
