Thanks for the feedback on the oil tubes. People have tube lengths from 6" to I'd take the suggestion about marking the dipstick, but it doesn't reach the oil. Since I can't lengthen the tube, I'll p

to the it length into into means My 235 uses 6 qts, with the external filter. Least that what it take to go a bit over the full mark on mu stick. You can buy a universal stick and cut to length. Mike

My '57 235 uses 6 quarts with a dry filter. Comes just up to full. I'll measure the tube and dipstick tomorrow in daylight. oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
