How much did it cost to power coat the frame? I asked locally in Lafayette, Louisiana and was quoted a price of $900. That seemed a bit high to me and so I'm leaning toward POR15. To anyone else on

I used POR15 on my 1966 Chevy 1/2 ton 4 years ago and it still looks great! Mike oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

Mike have you thought about just having it shipped. That way you know it will be safe of course there are no guaranties in life. How ever have it hauled up by a pro so to speak might be worth it and
