I have a 216 that knocks on #3 rod and I found .002" out of round on that crank journal. Is this the cause? Bob ADler oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

Genearlly clearance is more of an issue with a knock, but one will lead to the other, excess clearance if continually run will usually pound the bearing out of round, did you mic the big end of the r
