For those of you with AD trucks I was wondering how I should go about eliminating rust in an awkward spot in the cab. (My truck is a 3 window) That spot is in the back of the cab on the inside there

I would strip your cab of everything and take it to a plating company, not a chrome shop. The plating company will more likely have a tank large enough to dip the whole cab in the various cleaning ta

Good advice if you live near Albuquerque or a big city but here in Kansas I have searched and cant seem to find a place that dips the whole cab. Just not enough demand I guess. Same thing for powder

if you can get it dipped, go for it. it wont affect the paint at all. if they do a zinc plating on it, you could leave it out in the snow and rain in bare metal and it wont do a thing to it. no preca

I don't understand why you would plate it with zinc. Zinc corrodes faster, that is why it is used as a sacrificial anode. So instead of something like your radiator corroding, the zinc will. Shane Le
