- If you want to put a manual behind a 454ci, you might want to check out the Doug Nash (now Richmond Gear) 5 and 6-Speeds. They are a whole lot stronger than the T-5 in any form. They are pricey, but

- Actually only the Z28s, Formula V8s and Trans Ams use the six speed. Most of the F-bodies out there are of the six cylinder veriety which use the five speed. The six speed in my '97 Z28 felt a little
