I copied down the vin off the door plate, which My guess would be it's a 53, from the first 2 numbers after the initial letter. My 1953 3100 series VIN is H53S007578. Wally / Templeton, MA 53 3100 ro

Thx Wally, I suspect you're correct. The more I think about it the push button door handles probably indicate it's later than I thought. I just checked the plate on our 49 and it was painted over by

You have found yourself a5703, or more likely a 57035. The year model should be a 1953. This is a Cab Over Engine or COE. The rating was a nominal 2 ton with a 158 inch wheel base. According to the s
