I installed the Bitchin Products Firewall and floor which included the transmission tunnel. Any tranny will fit under there. On my '49 I have the stock firewall and a flat shet of 10 gauge metal for

Hi Bob, All TH and 4L family automatics should fit fine on small blocks. Other non-GM automatics might work too but I personally haven't seen too many setup that way. I'm not sure about manual tranny

There was an article in 'Classic Trucks' around June 2000 that talked about a late model automatic transmission that bolted up to an original six with an adapter (of course) from Stovebolt. I'll try
