Sorry, Dan, forgot it was a GMC. Skip my comments re the 216 and 235. They're chevy motors. GMCs were even sturdier. I'd be reluctant to ditch an original GMC engine. Regards, Grant S. gls@4link.net

Did Canadian GMC build step vans? If so, Dan's step van may have a 216 or 235 in it. He's in Victoria, BC, so it may be Canadian. Though, it doesn't really matter what engine it has. With something a
