I read somewhere that the angle or degree for the motor to the drive shaft should be around 5 degrees. My question is can it be more? dose anyone have an opinion on this? I'am mounting a 350 small bl

The right angle varies with the exact application, but I don't think you'd want it to be any more than 5 degrees. You don't want to stress the joints or cause undue wear by having too much angle. The

Tim, You should try to maintain the original crankshaft centerline. Make note of crank center to frame in front and trans shaft at rear before old power train is removed if possible. Lee '54 V/8 -- O
