I have found paint to repaint my 48{bright red} that is almost perfect match to firewall. Question is:: What color was the pinstripe on the deluxe model that goes around the raised ridge on cab. Also

Don, the red color Chevy used was "Swift's Red"....at least for the '47. That's what's listed in the 1947 specs from Chevy. The pinstripe around the cab was "Argent Silver" if the truck was painted S
