I bought the ChevyDuty kit for my 53-3100. It worked pretty well. In my case, the spacer allows the outer wheel bearing race to go onto the axle so far that the id interferes with the taper of the ax

On my 50 3100 Chevy I went with a front disc brake kit from Chevy Duty. Im very happy with it but what size wheels fit up there? Im worried with clearance and want to go with either 15 or 16 inch cus

I used a similar kit on my 57 GMC. The wheels I used were 15x8 stock wheels from a 78 4WD Chevy pickup. Plenty of space for the calipers without needing the 1/4" spacers that came with my brake kits.
