- Hey Carl : I had the same problem with my 55 2nd .I sprayed a little WD 40 on the splines then put the nut back on so it was flush with the end of the rod. I then put a piece of wood between the fire

- I've removed mine using this procedure: 1. Loosen the nut holding the round rod pedal to the lever enough that the threads are not exposed. 1/2" (instead of 3/8") drive ratchets and extensions work b
