One thing you've got to watch out for with the caddy 472/500 block is that unless it's out of an Eldo, it's a front sump pan. Usually doesn't work too well with most crossmemebers. Also, the '68 and

I've put a caddy motor in a '69 chev and a '77 chev. both are 1/2t 2wds and are used almost exclusively for pulling a car trailer. they fit in the '69 like it was made for it, it was a little too big
