on my 1950 3100,my lighter element seems to have burned out.it has power to it and has always worked but now nothing.have tried several known working lighters to eliminate that.how does this lighter

The back housing on my lighter unscrews from around the lighter element in the dash and then the element comes out from the front. to any oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 194

Mike, make sure you remove the nut and hot wire off back first. It is ALWAYS Hot and don't touch it to ground. Then grab the whole outer casing and turn to loosen. You may need to hole the outside tr
