What truck is this motor in? Is it GMC or Chevrolet? 6 or 8 cylinder? What do you think it is, if you had to guess (235, 261, 302 etc.)? What's the casting number and date code on the block? Mike Bot

Randy My number sheet shows a 302 69 camaro Z-28 with 4 bolt main but it shows the same number for a 350 from a 69-80 with two or four bolt main. I couldn't find anything on those other numbers. Did

Inliner casting number site lists 3837004 as 55-57 235 0r 261. Are you sure that 3rd digit is an '8'? number, oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
