I haven't tried those products, but I have been using Fram's oil filters with Teflon. With Castrol synthetic blend 10-30 oil, my gas mileage on the highway went up 14%. The bad news is Castrol says T

I've been using Prolong in my 92 S10 with 145,000 miles and it seems to be fine! I started using it about 10,000 miles ago. No problems yet! Beware of using those additives in a high mileage engine.
