- The glove box lock on my '52 Chevy 1/2 ton is locked and I don't have the key. I would like to remove the lock so that I can get it rekeyed by a locksmith, but how can I remove it without the key? Th

- The Glove Box lock if locked will have he key slot in the vertical position. If the key slot is horizontal it should be unlocked. I would suggest that before you try anything else you spray some WD4
