Hi ,does anyone have the hydra-matic linkage for a 55 2nd ser. with a 265. Also, is it worth puting this trans back in?, How were they? Right now I have a 350 w/ a 350 trans. But I also have the 265

GM put this tranny in Cadillac and Oldsmobile. Rolls Royce bought them also. I believe Ford also bought them for Lincoln a few years. These trannys got some good endorsements from high places. Bob A

I had my '58 GMC Hydramatic rebuilt a couple of months ago and it is very expensive. They charged $400 for labor, which I think is about the going price to work on any automatic. It also cost me $500
