I installed the monos on my 56 and enjoy them and the look it provides. I lowered the rear by removing 2 leafs from each spring pack, brought the rear down to match the front. Load capacity probably

WOW--had no idea they weighed that much... Care must be truly taken when removing anything from the original suspension setups. Must make sure that steering isn't affected, especially the tie rod end

My 57 GMC 1/2 ton GMC had 8 leaf springs in the front. 6 leaf was there were optional 7 and 8 leaf springs. Counting from the longest spring, I removed spring # 3 and 6. It lowered the front bumper b
