- I would use Bill Hirsch engine paint.....No primer needed and it brushes on but looks like it was sprayed! I don't have his number/address handy but he advertises everywhere. Mike B. '56 8400 Wrecker

- I painted the engine (Chevy 350) in my Chevelle with Plasti-Kote 500 degree high temperature paint, several coats and it looks great. No flaking, peeling or other defects after a year and 3000 miles

- I used POR15 engine enamel, this stuff is great, it can be brushed or sprayed can be thinned with lacquer thinner. It looks great, it costs $10.00 for a pint, enough for a complete engine. Antonio, '
