- Price will in part depend on your location, but $2500 sounds way too high for what you're describing. I'm in Oklahoma and a 1950 Chevy truck in the condition your describing could easily be had for $

- It doesn't sound that high to me ( Bay Area, NoCal ). I paid $600 for my '53 3/4 ton in 1988. The body looked great but I had to put $6K into the mechanicals ( mostly rebuild the engine, tires, etc )
