I pulled the rear end for clean/fix up. When I got the rear cover off I counted teeth. No cavities, er, um, wait - 39 on the ring - 10 on the pinion - 3.90:1. Was this a stock ratio for 58' or has so

That's the standard ratio for Task Force trucks. OD option used 4.10. It's not so great for highway driving. Grant 50 3100 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
