- I would grind down the rusty areas and then treat the metal with some "RUST MORT" available at the Automotive paint stores. When the rust is converted I would wipe the area down with some thinner to

- What about the rust down in the pits? Should I try to sand that down? I think I would destroy the metal by not being able to keep it even. Would the Rust Mort or rust converter be able to stop whats
