- Can anyone out there help me, as I am confused. On a 1949 1/2 ton Chevy, what is the correct original color of the speedometer needle? Jim Carter's catalog says white, but I am finding other sources

- LMC says that the speedo needle was changed to red in 1949 but doesn't say what color it changed from. Brothers says white for 47-53. IMHO I think that it should be orange but don't have the documen
