There won't be enough metal in just one standard leaf to hold the truck up. Mono springs are designed to be mono and are much thicker in the middle where it counts. Reducing one or two leaves is done

I recommend against removing anymore than 1-2 leafs (also depending upon which ones you remove). The original springs were designed to be used as a set (usually 6), and you would dangerously weaken

Tim-- On a 41, I agree that the route you chose is probably the best way to go. On the later trucks, especially 55-59 TF trucks, the Camaro front fits better than it does on 41s, and is a reasonable
