I've been trying to reassemble my TR6 tranny and have run into a snag. The bloody circlip on the front end of the main shaft won't expand without bending. I don't have the Churchill tool to do apply

Greg - just went through that @#$!&*$*!! exercise. After bending one I got the use of an extra pair of hands to start circlip onto shaft by tapping as I held it open "just enough" with circlip pliers
