Other way around, Cap'n! 10CC is the later one with the 2" main bearings. Everything else being equal, the 10CC engine produced about 4 HP more because of the stiffer crank. Regards, Paul A

Not really a fair comparison. Bottom line: a stock 1275 will go faster feel smoother, run cooler, last longer, and cost less to rebuild and maintain than a 1098. What are you trying to preserve? Sinc
