Hi Bud, Definitely in the cylinder head. You actually meas. engine temp. there. No way in the radiator, there if you lose a hose or spring a leak you are measuring steam or air which will most likely

Head, but you will need an adapter to keep from squashing the blub. MOSS has it, or at least did the last time I checked. Yes on the venting.
