- OK I not that Dumb. The engine has no spark plugs and no distributor in it. Of course I would get good oil pressure before I lit the fires.

- If you don't pull the plugs, this is almost a waste of time. The big ends still have to crank with the strain of compression with no oil. Pull the plugs. -- Trevor Boicey, Ottawa, Canada. tboicey@bri

- I forgot something else. If you put a new cam and lifters in the engine, you should bed these in first before you go driving. The procedure is 2,000 - 2,500 rpm for 30 minutes as soon as possible aft
