- In answer to one of my own questions, the socket for the 1500 crank nut is 1-7/8". I went back over to the mechanic I sold mine to and borrowed it. On another note...he was working on an older Lotus

- My '80 TR8 has Z-S carbs. No provision for changing jets nor needles, so stay away from this series. Earlier Z-S's were fully adjustable like SU's. Those are the ones to use. Herb
