- You can ask others on the list, but I usually send the block and crank into a machine shop to be sure the cylinders are round, the crank journals are round, and to have them boil the crank and block

- Don't deck the block unless it needs it. Same with milling the head. Both those operations will put slack in the timing chain on a U20. Do have them checked for straightness, though. Gordon Glasgow R
