What is the best way to measure the size for a new set of rings. I have the head off the 1600 to get a needed valve job, and was gonna throw in a new set of rings while I was at it. Scott '90 sentra

I've always just checked the piston oversize number (stamped on the crown of the piston) then ordered that size. I have, out of paranoia, always checked end gap before intstalling, just to be sure. T
