Here's how I'd restore the 64. Drill out rivets for id plate. lift id plate and roll car out from under. Roll chassis from 74 properly prepared under said id plates and affix with appropriate rivets.

Most of the floor is the same, the difference is near the leaf springs and spring hangers. (Unless you have a late 64 with semi eliptical springs) Most 64s had 1/4 springs, the 74 has 1/2 springs. If
