Well, I hate to admit this, but I've had my B for almost 20 years now and had never messed with the carpets. No they weren't in real good shape, but I lost interest in the beast for a string of years

On my 72 B the snaps are for rubber carpet covers that snap in place. Don't know if that was also the case in 70, but I would guess that they are the same. Dave 72 B Well, I hate to admit this, but

On my 1969 model, which came equipped with rubber floor mats rather than carpeting, there are four snaps attached to the floor (the male piece). Each rubber mat had corresponding female snaps at the
