- Plugs? Plug wires? Distributor cap? Kinda doubt those diagnoses could be made over the phone. Also, no mention that it was misfiring, just mis-accelerating. This would point to the carb side of the

- I think it has to be a cable or the air filter. Anything else would have cost more, and MGs (and Jaguars) have always had these little "cable-type" problems. It was either one of those things or you
