I am in the process of buying a 78 MGB roadster. Its not currently running but the guy says he can get it going without much trouble. He says it should be driveable to get it home (a few miles). The

I'm not too well up on the later Bs but I believe o/d was an option on more or less all cars. The gear knob slide is the o/d switch; I have the same thing on my Triumph 2.5PI, except it says, in/out
