A cheap fix is to cut the bad section out and replace it with a piece of tube like those used to connect tailpipes. Auto part stores sell all sorts of sizes. A curved section might have to be made up

I believe Proper MG is having a sale on their Peco exhaust system. $282.45 USD for the header and exhaust including shipping. Don't know the separate pricing off hand. They can be reached at 800.711.
