It seems that you have some good authority on the formation and the early rules of the club. I had said that it was formed in 1951 because that is what it says under the pictures on page 9 of the 19

So back to the original question. Mr Anderson would need to run a minimum of 220.001 MPH to qualify for the 200 MPH club in C/BGT. A worthy goal that may take some time to achieve. Tom, it'll be good

Ya know, on second thought maybe C/BGT isn't such a bad class to run in. Old Keith has to run over 219 MPH in D/GALT. Thats with 67 less cid, no blower and no .29 drag Coef. JB
