- use ATF, and I don't think thats what was in mine orginally. I do of some manual transmissions that do use ATF (volvo 4-speed/overdrive for inststance), so I thought I'd better check. - Bryan

- Gear oil. API GL-4 2 1/2 pints. 80/90/140 depends on the weather ranges. Best to use a synthetic in it. Shifts a lot easier, especially when it's cool or cold. Valvoline makes an afordable one that w
