- Hi Everyone, I would like to replace my rear drums on my 69 2000. Can 240Z Rear Drums work? If so do I need to do any modifications ? What year do I request? Does Napa carry them? Thanks ! Paul Souza

- I think they work, buy I think I remember this coming up some time back. There might be a modification that needs to be done...grinding a lip off the backing plate maybe? I have either 240Z or roadst

- Yes, you'll need some machine work to get the Z-car drums to fit. IIRC, basically you're opening up the center hole on the drum because the raised section on the end of the axle is larger in diamete
