You probably mean 3.07 gears. I'd recommend at least 3.31 or 3.54 if you use a five speed with around 0.8 final ratio. For example, to get the equivalent final ratio as 2.88 gears with a 0.8 five-sp

I have 3.31 rear gears in the Tiger with a T-5 and a .69 OD 5th gear. Great combination! Quick off the line but cruises at 2,500 rpm @ 75mph. At 90mph just about 3,000rpm. Got 23 mpg doing 75 plus u
