- Hey all, Currently taking a 3.9 0.020 over. I'm interested in opinions and experiences of high compression pistons for this -- at least higher compression than the wimpy Range Rover pistons! Thanks,

- I'm in the same boat looking for good piston options for this engine. Seems that there is not many. Option 1: Order 9.35:1 cast Rover truck pistons from England. Use steel shim head gasket. Option 2
