I guess that is correct, but I am daily driving a '79 Midget, with the supposedly shorter rear end, and it screams at Interstate speeds. Sounds good, but I wuld fathom a guess that it isn't good for

69 would have the 3.9 unless someone changed it out. They are marked on the outside on the top, just off center on a bit of a boss area with the tooth counts. A 3.9 would have 10/39 stamped on it. Ha

Or, if you cannot find the marks, jack up the rear end, put a chalk mark on the prop shaft u/v joint flange and count how many times it rotates whilst someone turns a rear wheel through 10 revolution
