I have a Toyota Corolla 5 speed in the A40. It doesn't fit the Sprite unless you do serious cutting and get a driveshaft made. there is a bell housing kit to adapt A series engines to Toyota gearboxe

My Bugeye has a Corolla 5-speed in it. The PO did it -- did a very nice job of it, too, but I don't know of any kit for it -- it's all home-engineered. Chris Eck 59 Bugeye (with home engineering) 99
