Looks as though the car is wired for positive ground by looks of the hookup on the battery. He may have already let the smoke out of the radio he has partially installed.

I emailed the seller, letting him know it is most likely a Midget with a Bugeye bonnet, due to the wire wheels. I also tipped him off to where the VIN is stamped on the car, so he can see for himself

Jay That is a classic "cut off the lip" on the inner fenders. I at least cut them flush with the wheel well. It certainly is a cobbled together MKII Sprite. Most likely a MKIIA From the tach. -- Fran
