I know this is akin to sacrilege, but I'm going to be looking at a 63 Spitfire (made byT^%$&^& ). Does anybody know of any special problems with this model/vintage? Anything special I should look at

64 Triumph Spitfire... first Sportscar (2nd car... my 3rd was and is a big Healey I still have) I ever bought... back in '72. Biggest piece of shit I've ever owned... and I've owned hundreds of cars.

My first LBC was a 65 Spitfire. The motor was a piece of dung, the handling was sketchy at best. I autocrossed it in my high school years and blew the motor about once every two weeks. I wouldn't use
