- I have recently found a chrome bumper B that is in fair condition I have lots of Midget information but not much at hand for the "B". My question is this a 5 main engine, the number is 18GB-U-H-1155.

- Mark..........'Tis a very early '65 with a 5-main-bearing engine. One of the nicer models of MGB, IMHO

- The GB engines are the first five main bearing engines. An easy way to tell to to look for a mechanical tach drive on the back left corner of the engine. If it is there it is a 3 main engine. if not
